Executive Director and CEO of Empowerment Resource Center. Ms. Brown earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Auburn University, a Master of Business Administration from Jacksonville University, and a Master of Science in Public Health in Biostatistics from Emory University. Jacqueline has over 15 years of experience in managing health education and leading non-profit organizations.
Ms. Herrera coordinates program evaluation and IT activities. She administers HIV and STI testing services and serves as a bilingual interpreter for Spanish-speaking clients. As a program coordinator, Jessica manages all EHR activities, serves as the liaison for IT services, and coordinates public health information system operations. Ms. Herrera has earned a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology and Human Biology, with a concentration in Global Health, Culture and Society, from Emory University.
Ms. Porch performs a variety of duties to support the day-to-day activities, facilities management, and operations of ERC. Her primary role is to provide and ensure the delivery of consistent quality customer service and to provide administrative support for clinical, programmatic, and ancillary activities. Before joining ERC, previous roles have included CSR/Marketing/Sales for a full service Independent Insurance Agency and Partnership Development Manager for hospice.
7 years of experience providing direct services to young African-American women, with 2 years in HIV prevention education, 2 years of managing programs, and 2 years as a certified HIV & STI prevention counselor. Oversees the ERC Comprehensive Intervention Clinic, laboratory processing, and the execution of all testing and immunization services. Latasha received an Associate Degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences, with a concentration in Sociology from Antelope Valley College in Lancaster, California.
Twelve years of Operations Management experience and 5 years of Auditing and Compliance experience. Before joining, ERC previous roles have included Site Manager for a 24/7 operation and Director of Business Operations. In addition, countless service experiences assisting vulnerable populations and underserved communities. Her primary role at ERC is to provide strategic and tactical management to CDC funded Restoration Project through effective quality control, continuous process monitoring and evaluation activities, and staff development. Ms. Taylor earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Chicago State University.
