P4P PEER EDUCATOR CERTIFICATION PROGRAMS

ERC PROGRAMS FOR POSITIVE

The P4P Peer Educator Certification Program is designed to provide training opportunities and build capacity in the communities of people living with HIV and AIDS (PLWHA). ERC strongly believes that developing peer leaders is an integral part of combatting the epidemic. Our Peer Educator curriculum will assist participants in developing leadership, facilitations, and health literacy skills to become effective HIV peer health educators.

MISSION: The mission for the ERC P4P Peer Educator Certification Program is to provide leadership and support to Peer Educators across the State of Georgia, to build capacity and reinforce HIV care and prevention strategies among PLWHA, and to inform, educate and advocate for equal policies, strategies, and laws surrounding PLWHA.

VISION: To help build capacity and develop intergenerational social networks for PLWHA, ensuring that they are trained to take the forefront on social issues and ready to address, educate, and advocate for HIV social justice.
