Description

ERC is seeking an individual who can assist in the provision of HIV and STI testing services, health education and health literacy, risk reduction counseling, capacity building, client advocacy, and supportive services. Typical volunteer activities include day-to-day clinical and non-clinical operations, maintaining records, conducting field studies and community outreach activities, program evaluation, and client interviewing. Other duties as assigned.

Technical Skills

Technical Skills: Volunteers must possess a genuine empathy for clients and a willingness to help others; demonstrate excellent presentation skills in the delivery of health education materials and instructions to clients; and have excellent writing, verbal and computer skills related to preparing reports, articles, and materials development.

Description

ERC is seeking an individual who can assist in data collection, analysis and evaluation for ERC’s programs and services. The Research Assistant will work closely with the Research Analyst to conduct and analyze data relative to research in specialty areas. Typical volunteer activities include entering required variables into EvaluationWeb, recommend technology-based solutions, and analyze large datasets for clinical or basic programmatic and research purposes. Other duties as assigned.

Technical Skills

Volunteers must have a strong background in researching issues and resources, record-keeping and organizational skills; be able to pay close attention to details and exhibit sound analytical thinking, problem solving and execution skills; and have excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.

Description

ERC is seeking an individual who can assist in the recruitment and enrollment of high risk clients at external events, community health fairs and outreach settings. Typical volunteer activities include conducting data collection, administration of HIV testing and risk reduction counseling, client satisfaction surveys and entering required variables into EvaluationWeb. Other duties as assigned.
