When an In-Person Visit Is Required
Some symptoms or conditions require a physical exam, testing, or specialized evaluation.
You may be asked to come in if you have:
- Severe symptoms (high fever, shortness of breath, chest pain)
- Symptoms not improving with over-the-counter care
- Possible STI exposure requiring testing
- Issues that need lab work, swabs, or vitals
- Treatment that involves procedures or injections
If we can’t safely treat it online, we’ll guide you to the right care — at ERC or a partnering facility.
